I'll be interested to see the defensive assignments come tomorrow.

Yes. We are better than we were in December. Significantly better. We couldn't hit the ocean that day and that is what cost us. I say we are better because:1. LaQuinton Ross barely played early in the season. He sat out last year due to admissions.2. Sam Thompson was just a dunker then. NHL literally turned on a light switch in early March and now he can shoot.3. Shannon Scott was a mess until mid February. Those 3 guys make up our supposedly superb sophomore class that never panned out until just lllately. Suddenly, Ross is considered a 1st round possibility and Thompson is now in the radar screen as well.So - WSU is getting a red hot OSU team. I also realize WSU is red hot....so it will be close.7269OSUOriginally posted by another shocker View Posti saw the ku-osu game, and that's all i saw of osu this year. am i to presume that they are actually better than that game showed them to be, osu87?

It has nothing to do with any article they write on us. The entire site is basically "You want to be a journalist? HERE YOU GO!" There isn't even an attempt to be anything but a bunch of talentless hacks that throw as many pictures as possible in so you have to click 15 times to get through whatever "slideshow" they whipped up in 3 minutes, giving them 15 times the page hits of any legitimate article.
Sports journalism is in a very bad state these days -- you certainly don't have to look much farther than that Teo story to see it. BleacherReport makes ESPN and SI "journalists" look like Pulitzer Prize winners, though.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'

Starters:
PG - Craft. Defensive stud who can penetrate to score or dish. Any points from outside are a bonus.
Wings - Smith, Thompson. Used interchangeably. Smith is more of a defensive stopper and Thompson is better on O. But both can shoot the 3 and help bringing the ball up.
power forward - Deshaun Thomas. Ok D but great on O. Great touch around the basket and dangerous from three. He has been our only consistent offense all season.
Center - 7 footer Amir William. Tons of untapped potential. McDonalds American. Hands of stone and bad foot movement. He appears to be lazy. Frustrating.

After FGCU gets sent home packing tonight, we will be the last non-BCS program standing. Nationally, we'll be brandished as the last Cinderella standing (cringe the thought). I don't care whatever anyone wants to call us, doubt us, bet against us or cheer against us, all I do care about is the Shox keeping the dream and this ride alive.
