Unfortunately, I won’t be traveling to LA with the Shockers. I’ve traveled with them several times during the past 35+ years and I’ve never regretted making a trip. I’ve been to New Orleans, Maui, New York and several other destinations. Win or lose, you can’t put a ‘price’ on the satisfaction you’ll receive making the trip to LA and the NCAA tournament.
Additionally, nothing in life is guaranteed and you sometimes have to capture the moment. No one knows if this is a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity or the first of a long string of NCAA tournament appearances? I highly recommend seizing the opportunity and finding a way to get to LA to cheer on the Shockers; use your ‘big thumb’, travel by plane, train, bus, rent an RV, or take your family truckster. Sure, there are always good reasons to stay at home and save the money, however when will you get this opportunity again?
Wishing safe travels to all Shocker fans… hope to see you all in Charles Koch Arena next Sunday afternoon celebrating a couple of victories and an upcoming trip to the Final Four. Remember, “hope is a good thing.”
Go Shocks - Just do it!
“Welcome to Hollywood, what’s your dream?”
