Unfortunately, I won’t be traveling to LA with the Shockers. I’ve traveled with them several times during the past 35+ years and I’ve never regretted making a trip. I’ve been to New Orleans, Maui, New York and several other destinations. Win or lose, you can’t put a ‘price’ on the satisfaction you’ll receive making the trip to LA and the NCAA tournament.

Additionally, nothing in life is guaranteed and you sometimes have to capture the moment. No one knows if this is a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity or the first of a long string of NCAA tournament appearances? I highly recommend seizing the opportunity and finding a way to get to LA to cheer on the Shockers; use your ‘big thumb’, travel by plane, train, bus, rent an RV, or take your family truckster. Sure, there are always good reasons to stay at home and save the money, however when will you get this opportunity again?

Wishing safe travels to all Shocker fans… hope to see you all in Charles Koch Arena next Sunday afternoon celebrating a couple of victories and an upcoming trip to the Final Four. Remember, “hope is a good thing.”

Go Shocks - Just do it!

People still have to pay for long distance within the United States?

On a KAKE video I just watched, Wichita State ticket officials said they expect to sell every one of the allotted 1,250 tickets for WSU fans. They're already more than halfway there they said.

Is there seriously a bus charter? I bet there would be a few takers especially if it was in the 250.00 to 300.00 range.

Actually that would be pretty cool. Is that one way fare?

                Link for the light rail:

I'm talking myself out of renting a car but would like to hit the beach and check out the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Amtrak is very unpredictable. If it is on tike it is fine. But it isn't always.

Any idea of how many tickets the Shockers sold out of their allotment? I heard over 750 as of early Monday afternoon.

I would be surprised if it was much more than that. I was told only 500 of the tickets are the lowers, so I will be in the 300's (upper level) somewhere. They are charging credit cards now.
