There is a JW Marriott right next to the Staples Center for $250 a night. I am able to use Marriott points so . . . mine will be free!!

One interesting thing is that flights are actually a bit cheaper than they were last night at 11 p.m

Stub Hub is selling tix for Thurs/Sat night combo beginning at $187 and for Sat night only beginning at $98, so I'm guessing around there or something slightly less?

The WSU ticket office # says "Due to the high volume of calls you will need to call back at later time" - no hold. Don't know if I will wait for the WSU ticket office or go to Stubhub.

Anyone know anything about a chartered bus trip that includes hotel and tickets? I just heard there was one available.

I did a hotel and flight deal together! Booked the Ramada downtown 1 mile from Staples - our friend who lives out there says the downtown area is a lot nicer than it used to be. Chose the Ramada for several reasons including free wi-fi (not something you get at a lot of places downtown) and because some of the reviews on other hotels near the arena stressed that those places were not "kid friendly." Was hoping for a place with breakfast included but no luck. Can't wait to get there!!!

We are staying at the Millenium where the alumni association is staying, I believe. Booked our room for $149 a night after some haggling.

Flight from Dallas, $680. Hotel, $220 per night. Will be bunking up with 2 others. Cheapest flight I could find from Dallas was on US Airways. All others including Southwest Scarelines were $700 to $900.

I went in person and chewed some ass about their phone system. The kid told me that message you got was due to them being on the phones and more people in the queue. I told him that was really an inconvenience when people called long distance and they needed an interactive web application.
