And that would of made him one of the very few so-called pundits that got that right. From what I could tell most did not even consider it a possibility. They didn't even talk about the Shocks it was usually just when Gonazag meets Pitt...

My prediction....KC Shox predicts that we will lose because we just aren't in the same league as Gonzaga!

Not exactly. The Zag's offense runs through Kelly Olynick. You keep him in check, you have a great chance of winning. My key to victory is EO is going to have to utilize his superior strength and quickness to shadow KO all over the court and make him take contested shots all day long while staying out of foul trouble. Also, the Zags do not run, if they turn the game into a half court struggle where they like to run set plays to get shooters open, we are in trouble. We cannot allow them to get wide open looks where I saw Pitt have multiple open three's against us all day. Luckily, they weren't hitting them.

Athletic wise, we have the edge and I think we play a better brand of defense. Everyone knows the Zags struggle with opponents being physical. That's a fine line to walk. Will the refs allow the boys to play, or will they call ticky tack fouls all day? If they do, then that hurts us.

My prediction - if the refs allow the boys to play, EO does a good job of disrupting KO and we shoot a whole lot better from the three (say our season average) we win 77 - 68, (I'm already assuming our defense and rebounding will be status quo in this scenario).

If the game turns into a shooting match and we allow KO to go off, we lose 83 - 69.

It's time for the #1 team to lose. Who better to do that than the shocks? Gonzaga has been #1 for more than a week.

I am feeling good about this one too. I felt good earlier today about it and still feel like the team has it all together.

We should be very weary of predicting an outcome based on their performance/margin of victory today. It always seems that even the good teams have that one game where they struggle to win, but nonetheless win. Then go gangbusters from then on out.

Gonzaga is a very, very good team. We can't count on Gonzaga shooting as poorly as Pitt did today, but then again, hopefully we don't either.

I say, we just roll the ball out onto the court and let our boys play. If we win, we win, if not, no regrets. Just play ball.

My one hope is that the fellas, all of them relish this game against the #1 seed in the tournament. Then, put forth an effort that they never imagined that they had in them. This truly is the biggest game of all of their lives. bar none. This is it. Center stage, whatever you want to say.

Gonzaga reminds me of Creighton....only not as many shooters (makers). I think will are battled tested properly for this match-up and like our chances if.....IF we bring our A-game!!!! After watching Gonzaga today...I believe Creighton is a better team than the Zags. That being said....they're still pretty damn good.

If Creighton would have had 3 starters injured, which included their best player for around 7 games, how good would they have been? Even so, If WSU was healthy all Season, we would have easily won the Valley outright, beat Evansville at least once and won the S. Illinois game. Thus, today, now that we are healthy again, we showed the world that we are scary good when executing. Our hands were in the passing lanes all day long and we made our throws. Pitt was also really off on their shooting in which the Zags won't be. If our bigs can stay out of foul trouble and contain their bigs, we have a worthy shot of beating the #1 seed and that would be cool. Early answered the bell today and when Hall, Early, and Armstead are all on together, watch out.

Kennedy said that game times would not be set until after all of today's games are finished, then TV would set the schedule. Imagine that.
