I want so, so much for the Shox to send the Zags packing home tomorrow. Their fans are basing the matchup strictly on our shooting performance from the Pitt game. That was an anomaly, and would love nothing more than for us to prove it to them. Here's to the Shox knocking off the first Dance jitters and come out firing tomorrow.

Regarding our shooting percentage yesterday. We shot 59% inside the arc.

i'm expecting gonzaga to play the "disrespected " card to good effect, even though they are ranked #1 and favored by 6 points.. they will be a different team by saturday, offensively aggressive. 'shockers have to rise above that stuff.

Huge game and our team knows it. Taken from the Rhome interview, a way to skip a step, a way to be a Gonzaga is to beat Gonzaga. Each member of our team has the opportunity to be a Wichita State hero forever. They know it. Shockers win 75-70.

How do we beat the Zags? Keep in mind that when we have defensive flurries, it leads to easy baskets. Mr. Cotton had 5 steals which equaled Pitts team steal total. We had only 11 turnovers, Pitt had 15. Not only did we shoot great on throws at .805, we shot 41 throws and Pitt shot only 20. Not sure this nice ratio happens in the Zag game. We also need to rebound like windex employees and we must hit shots. I repeat, we Must hit shots. Their bigs are tough and I hope we match up well with them without getting into foul trouble.
