What's up is that you may need to raise your expectations Doc. What lies ahead is going to be very tough indeed, but I am not sure we have played our best total game yet. We have been very good for 25 minutes. If we can be very good for 15 minutes each half we have as good as shot as any at the gold.

I share your thoughts and sentiments 1972 and concur. Is is not grand to know just how good these Teams left standing are, along with the best of the best Coaching, but yet we understand that we will still be properly prepared and able to win with our best A game. We are adding to our fanbase too. Some people I know in Western, Ks that were K-State fans, just ordered some Shocker "play angry" T-Shirts. Fun stuffings.


Before, the Pub. was better than normal but it was flooding every which direction. Now, we have their sights eyeballing us and their ears to the tracks in a National Publicity Bonanza that will scrutinize the details that have been sketchy at best and will spotlight into the whys' and hows' and the Milky Way will now understand, as we aleady do, the drama and the adversity we faced to get here. We will still be picked to lose as before but that is what makes winning sweet enough to put sugar out of buswax.

The masses will love an underdog that plays like angry pitbulls!!! Every dog has his day but we are not satisfied and play like angry road warriors. Go ahead Vegas, make our day, and pick us to lose. However, never underestimate the big hearts of our beloved Shockers.

We are not entering this here Dance without more expectations. So far, our dreams are so good that I dreamed I was eating marshmellows in LA, but woke up, my pillows were gone, but now understand, we are heading to the road to Atlanta which is a dream come true, but yet, but yet, just like our beloved Shocks, we are not satisfied. Soon, the dreams that are getting better each Season, will be realized on a higher National scale and a much higher note.

As I said in my Thread of Lamentations, it would take at least an Elite Eight for me to forget about getting Evansvilled up the ass this year. The thing is, because of that disaster on senior night, I don't have a lot of confidence in what the Shockers WILL do. Notice I said will instead of can. I don't think the Shockers play near as tough as they did at the beginning of the year. Remember how all of us in here were effusive with praise on how this Shocker team seemed like the toughest team in memory? Well, that team wouldn't have lost on Senior night. Yes we can play hard and tough, but we can also go soft and let nobodies prance into the lane and score.

We need the team to come out energized in the NCAA's and play hungry like they did at the beginning of the season. We need the EO of Iowa. We need Cle' to use his athleticism around the basket on offense as WELL as defense. We need Wiggs to snipe. We need Beast to be the Beast EVERY game. We need 'Stud to be a stud. And Cotton and DWill to be defensive leaders. Baker and FVV will be the X-factors and could quite possibly be the ones that make a difference. EVERYBODY needs to go 110%.

I can hope, but at this point, I can't expect. These are the same players that **** the bed in a way that even I didn't think was possible on senior night when all the marbles were on the line. Well, all the marbles are on the line again.. does anybody want them?

Talking about the final four but would settle for a sweet 16 or elite 8...like you are some perennial powerhouse that is always in the tourney and a sweet 16 would be ok. So delusional, but you are my entertainment when I am having a bad day. Thanks guys!

BTW - I am a Jays fan and I admit and know that we have massively underperformed in the NCAA tourney. Hoping last year is a good stepping stone and would be very happy with a sweet 16. We dont care about the NIT and dont brag that we "won a few games" in a tournament no one cares about.

Is Cold still in timeout? If so can he be let out of his room? It's the offseason and it'll be pretty slow around here for the next 5 months or so. I can digest his schtick much better over the offseason.

My thoughts on most of the trolls that post here is that basically everything that they have been throwing in our faces the last number of years (having a coach that has not won in the ncaa's while here, no
recent success in the ncaa and no recent success in winning in the valley) has basically been shoved up their collective butts with nothing but the devils lube.

I concur. He deserved the timeout for acting like an ass in the Louisville thread but I would think he's served out his time.
