Titans vs. Shockers - Official BracketBusters Game Thread

I like these Brackbuster games for the simple reason it gives a much needed break and change of pace from the slow down Valleys games. An athletic team (Shockers) needs to run and stretch its legs with other athletic teams every once in a while ya know!!!

Also...MVC....show some love and INVITE Detroit to the Valley next year!!!

My hat is off in respect to this Detroit starting 5, No wonder they beat Valpo on the road. Even so, our bench scored oodles and theirs scored a goose egg. Yes, they have McCallum(29 points) who will indeed play in the bigs. Yes, Anderson made an ESPN dunk on an alley that was a 10+++ reverse alley slam. However, lets talk about alleys. Down here at 21st and Hillside, when our D ignites into a flurry, then who's side do you want to be on in a alley fight baybay? This ain't no Burger King down here. You don't come in here and have it your way. Any time you only have 9 turnovers, and get 8 steals here or abroad, you have a chance to win. Today, we won with an exclaimation point!!!!!!!

What an awesome game. One of the most, if not THE most impressive games by the Shox all year against an impressive non-con opponent. Every player brought it today. Nothing less would have been good enough.

Very impressed with Detroit, but not at all surprised. They are as advertised.

Now we need to pound Evansville into dust.

As I watched Armstead play so tough, and then FVV making the alley to Early who is never late to deliver the rock, we see the here and now and an illustrious Shocker future. Can you dig some of that grooovy graaaavy? 32-0 =our bench versus theirs.? WOW!!!

Detroit's 5 was definitely not as good as the SHOX 10. But their 5 were VERY, VERY, good...

Can we expel Drake or Evansville and add Detroit to the Valley?

Maybe it is time for Detroit to come back and Drake or Evansville to go...
