Carmichael kicked Cotton in the upper chest, got a Flagrant 1 foul, we got 2 shots (both made by CE), and the ball. Changed the game, completely.

As Jackie Carmichael came down with a rebound, he randomly kicked his leg and hits Tekele right in the chest, although it almost looks like it hit him in the face. Carmichael turns and looks at Tekele while doing this. Afterwards, the Redbirds draw a foul. The refs look at the play during the dead ball and rule it a Flagrant 1. However, the ref, Paul Janssen, was standing right in front of the play and should have called it right there to begin with.

How in the world did that happen? We gave up another big run, 17-0. We were shooting so bad I feared for the health of the backboards. Silly, silly turnovers and fouls.

What else is there to say except that winners make plays.
