redbirds 33 ft attempts....

Hard to get fouled when the ball never gets in the paint.

There were several close games last year where I was never convinced anyone wanted to take the big shot. One thing about Cleanthony, regardless of what kind of game he has had, I think he relishes the opportunity to grab the moment.

I want to give a shout out to Shaka Smart. When VCU was trying to come back against us, he had the officials stop the game and go to the monitor to check for a possible flagrant foul (which was not given). May have planted a seed in Marshall's mind that you can stop the game even after the foul has occurred. Not saying that Marshall didn't know that. Just saying that the good coaches file experiences like that away for later.
