  • Mike Kennedy quoted Jack Buck twice after the game. He should have quoted one of Jack's partners, Harry Caray about the game: "Holy Cow!"

Why I rushed home to watch this game I'll never know.
I bet you are now glad that you did.

      • I wouldn't consider Jackie C to be a dirty player. I think the kick was a spontaneous action but definetly intentional. The problem is, Paul Jannsen, one of the quickest whistles in the West, called nothing. Huh?
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

        • Heckuva win considering Jim "JT" Thomas changed roles and was apparently in charge of the Shocker offense for the first 26.5 minutes of the game...

                      • Here's a video of our last possession, as well as some replays of the kick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIE_1N3R4EU

The quality is poor cause it's still being processed. Sorry for it being pretty bright as well, and hopefully it doesn't get taken down by Youtube.

Not really. I would have been home for the 2nd half anyway, but I rushed to get home before the end of the 1st. Anyway, just glad I didn't turn the game off midway through the 2nd!

Cotton is a defensive gem who never quits hustling. Our beloved Shocks are road warriors with the best road record in the Valley. Now give us the toothpick win Shocks and we will be looking finer than a frog-hair, cooler like a rock star convention, like Tyrone Shoelace faking out some sucka with his crossover dribble he invented, like a karate battle-royal that our own Kung Wu is the last man standing!!!
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
