You had two other officials that had better angles. Can they not overrule the call? Is this where they have plausible deniability saying 'I didn't see it? This is where officials need to be publically accoutable. Yet they will be on the road, working another game tomorrow night.

We can lose to Indy State and Creighton, go to the final in St. Louis and we're still in the tournament, the "must win out" posts are still a bit overboard (if that's even possible at this point.) The problem is that we're going to lose probably 5 more games.

I wish he would let it fly, but Elgin would probably ban him from St Louis.

And say what? The #22 team in the country only lost to a team that was 1-10 in conference because of one blown call in the final seconds?

It was a pretty bad call I thought, as either way you don't decide the game when it's that close as a ref ... but end of the day, if a game against SIU comes down to that, the amount of things that had to go wrong were so monumental it's not even worth bringing up.

Some players had some very bad games tonight. Why they played so much despite struggling, and why FVV and others who were playing well sat on the bench, though, is on Marshall. Sorry to say it. I love the guy, but we lost tonight because the wrong players were on the court.

No they didn't. Goaltending is not reviewable. They checked the clock and added a bit of time.

I am not going to get sucked into what is sure to be a quagmire of problems around here, and in my state I have no strength for it, but does any one know if it was Randall or Stuart that made that goaltending call.

They werent reviewing yhe goal tend. They were looking at the clock to put the right amount of time.

I might be starting to believe we really aren't as good as advertised. The dumbass stuff is not a trend anymore. It's simply who we are.

I think this may very well be the case. One thing about Wessell and Baker was that they brought some smarts to the table. Maybe starting to miss that.

We look totally out of sync offensively and we simply are not playing good team ball. A lot of one-on-one stuff.

They only reviewed it to see how much time should be put back on the clock. They moved it back to 2 seconds. At least they didn't put it at 1.9 seconds.
