Attila the Hun might have something to say about a circle portrayal of economic systems.

You are correct. Feudal systems, kingdoms, and other outdated economic systems probably don't apply to modern economics.

I will be surprised, if it ever goes to the floor. It is my guess that it will be tabled in committee.

It depends on how bad the President of the Senate (Susan Wagle from Wichita and a WSU grad) wants to see the bill passed. If she wants it, it should happen.

                    Pretty good point.

Hard to chuck stones at a team that's a 2 seed when we're fighting for a 12 seed and losers of our last 3. Even if it was the biggest RPI upset in the last 20 years of college basketball.
Can we at least throw pebbles now that they have bowled 3 gutter balls in a row too?

                      • It is well known that the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Ty Masterson(?) of Andover, is very much in support of this bill and will pass it on through for a vote. Wagle is on record saying she will do the same in the Senate. As long as neither buckle to political pressure or trade it off for support on another bill, it will get its day in the sun. Then we will watch all the Chickenhawker legislators vote against the best interest of their state and vote in favor of their delicate sports egos.

                          Good news.

                          • Any possibility of exposing legislators who would seek to continue to financially marginalize one of their state's major universities for the sole reason of protecting a carefully constructed mirage of omnipotency surrounding another program has my full attention.

                            • King Arthur: Well I am king.
Dennis: Oh, king eh? Very nice. And how'd you get that, eh? By exploiting the workers. By hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society.

King Arthur: I am your king.
Woman: Well I didn't vote for you.
King Arthur: You don't vote for kings.
Woman: Well how'd you become king then?

King Arthur: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. THAT is why I am your king.
Dennis: Listen, strange women lyin' in ponds distributin' swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

Dennis: Oh, but you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you.

We can hope that any trading will go in favor of our bill.
