Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Interesting reading the discussion on the Bluejays board. The consensus opinion seems to be that they lost the game, it doesn't matter too much, the refs helped us, and that they think we will lose (perhaps by a lot) in Omaha.
They seem to believe that their shooting today was an aberration, but don't really feel like our shooting was out of the ordinary despite it being significantly worse. I don't think they realize how much Baker will help us on offense or how much better we can shoot FTs and 3s. Personally, I think the Shockers will shoot much better @ Creighton, and we'll see whether Creighton will improve as well.
Regardless, I don't think Creighton wins if we are allowed to play physical. We probably won't get that luxury, but if we do I feel like we can out-physical any team in the country. I'm hoping we can eventually run a small line-up of Armstead/Baker/Cotton/Early/Hall and a big line-up of Armstead/Cotton/Early/Hall/Orukpe, so Creighton won't even be able to game-plan for the same line-ups they played against today.

I think him and Armstead like the 1-on-1 ball a little too much sometimes and try to do too much. I completely agree that there were several openings in the post for Carl and Cle that were missed, and missed pretty easily, particularly on fast breaks at the beginning of the offensive sets. Very frustrating. I wish somebody would tell those guys we have some absolute studs down there. When we go inside, we succeed a lot. I just don't understand it sometimes. That's really my main beef with D-Will and one of a couple beefs with MA.
An aside. There is not much forgiveness on Demetric's 3 ball. Just way too much spin."Prediction is very difficult, especially if it is about the future."

Funny you accuse it of being our Superbowl when there was a four page thread on here extolling your crew to go apesheet in the stands.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!

march2nd: still too much armstead for chatman. 'shockers will be all over the boards.
i would expect another knock down drag out. i would also expect wichita state to shoot much better.
