Dingman is shooting 48.1% from 3.

The worst three ball shooter is Jones at 32.3%. I believe he is injured and out.
I think there is no way Marshall zones more than a few possessions either to mix it up or after pressing.

i would hate to see wichita state come out fired up, gain a sizable lead, and then blow it because of turnovers, letting cu come back and win.

i would hate to see that.

shockers must highly value every.single.posession. in this game. every last one- no exceptions.

I PREDICT THAT IF CHADRACK LUFILE PLAYS 20 MINUTES AND COLLECTS 10 REBOUNDS, WE WILL WIN!!!

Dougie is gonna have to guard Early so maybe he can get him in foul trouble early, and not the other way around or we'll be in trouble

Do you think we still see Carl coming off the bench? Or perhaps EO, Carl and Cle starting together?

I like that match up. Early's O > SoW's D by a long shot, so Cle may be in for another 20-30 point game. I think when we're on D we will guard SoW by committee, for what it's worth.

I say when the time comes, We start Ehimen, Hall, Early, Cotton and Armstead. I'd be just fine with that being the Saturday lineup.

As long as Echenique is on the court, it will be a nice battle to watch for him and EO. Anytime Echenique is not on the floor, I expect SoW and Towel to be the 5 and 4 and force the coverage to come outside. Probably not a good thing for EO.

Just a guess, but I'd save Hall to guard SoW when Echenique's not out there. Otherwise, I'd try to match Early up with Dougie and try to run him Wragged.

i agree. that should be the starting lineup. 'wouldn't guarantee a win over creighton this saturday, but that lineup would be hell come FEBRUARY.

I know Cotton is only 6'2" and 200 pounds. But he is the biggest 6'2" 200 pound player we have had since I have been watching the Shox. If that makes any sense what-so-ever? I mean the dude is just a great stopper in my mind. It wouldn't bother me one bit seeing him match up with Doug McD, even with the height mismatch. Now if he got beat over and over again I'd change my mind quickly but I think with his speed, strength, and smarts he would hold his own as a stopper against a 6'8" player like McD that isn't the best leaper out there by a long shot.

Break down Marshall vs Coach Mc Dermott, Early vs McDermott's kid. Echinique vs EO. Gibbs & Wragge have come up big but Shockers counter with Williams, Armstead, Cotton & Wiggins. SOS WSU has edge here.
Lose the turnovers, don't settle for 3's & a full fame if defensive intensity & Shox win like they did in Omaha.
We could sure have used Ron Baker for the Creighton game. He could have helped counteract Wragge's long balls. By the way, why is Ron Baker ignored? If i were him i would not be too happy about it. Does anybody know when he will return?

EO's action has been in short stints and is not on the floor long. If we do start EO, Hall, and Early and they start Echenique, SoW, and Gibbs, whose going to give Hall and Early a breather after EO is already out and CU subs Wragge for Echinique who also doesn't play as much as the others. EO certainly won't be chasing one of those two all over the court. By the way, your lineup has also already used Cotton, so he's already been on the floor awhile.

i also predict that lutz will be there cheering on his favorite mvc team (whomever happens to be playing wichita state- in this case, creighton).

Baker isn't playing and won't be for a few more weeks. He is far from ignored but it's hard to get excited about his return when he's wearing a boot and walking on crutches.
