We didn't get to this point by being a bunch of pretty boys. Hope the guys are ready to make it a long, unpleasant visit to Koch Arena for the Redbirds.
True, all of our hair models are sitting on the sideline.

Those hairy guys are the hardest working, hard-hat wearing, lunch-pail carrying grunts we have and can't wait till they are clocking in again.

        Remember STL . . .

A bloodthirsty crowd and the good guys play like their hair is on fire.

I really hope this is the game where we re-introduce ourselves to the pass to the inside. We had so many advantages there against EU and it seems like we didn't exploit those well enough. Our guards need to start learning to pass the ball, especially to our frontcourt guys. Turnovers need to be cut in half, if not more. And yes, Illinois State is my second favorite team, the game in St. Louis last year did leave a sour taste in my mouth with the way Stutz was gone after. Hopefully, some of those players remember that game and those who weren't here are told about it.

Time to reassert ourselves. Crowd better bring it. I'm hoping for a W against a hungry, but bugging out ISU team.

I wonder if Coach Marshall will enjoy seeing Coach Ford again, or if he'll want to put foot on throat a bit for leaving, or some combination of both?

That has been going on for a few games now. They go inside for a little bit then stop. I can't figure out why they would stop doing something that was working. I hope they go back to that too.

I wouldn't want to be ISU right now. With a long losing streak, their season is on the verge of collapse. Now they're coming into a hostile environment to play a pissed off team that just had a poor performance and lost a game, with a pissed off coach who wants nothing more than to trounce his former assistant, and with a returning injured starter nicknamed "The Beast" who is pissed off that his thumb was broken and missed a month of playing time his senior year.

God have mercy on the Redbirds.

According to this article he practiced on Monday for the 1st time since his suspension which remains day-to-day.

My guess is that he will play, but ILS probably will make decision close to game-time.

I remember Nic (see ya later) Moore cheap shoting TM with his shoulder putting TM on the ground. I remember the ground level nut sack attack on GS from "Frenchie". I remember the crappy T on GS.

I remember seeing somewhere that Muller said he must practice to play. He practiced so he will play.

I really think our guard were pressing the last couple games to make plays, just cuz of us not having a consistent low post presence. With the beast back, that changes

So Illinois St. is going to bring back Brown because they feel like they definitely can't win without him? I thought they couldn't win with him.
