Very disappointing loss. Just horendous on offense. What plays does Marshall draw up? Oh that's right, NONE!

I would beg to differ on your feelling that Gregg Marshall does not draw up plays. Perhaps they aren't executed but he has some of the best inbounds plays I have ever seen.

I don't blame Jake for that one. Look at what our senior guard led us to as a last second shot in the first half.

I actually was blaming Malcom for his shot in the lane that got blocked - Cle had his guy sealed off. I didn't care for Jake's shot but he did have one of his best games so far this season.

'shockers shoot 54%, 6/13 from three, outrebound ue by 14- but 22 turnovers lead to 27 points for the aces. he made no mention of that, that i heard. he talked a lot about how great ue was and then a lot about pine time (aimed at anybody that doesn't play d, i suppose)- but no mention of turnovers.

Hey, why shouldn't they rejoice and get carried away? They just beat the number 23 team in the nation. They played a pretty decent OC schedule and even though they lost the majority of those games, that seasoning may very well played a part in their win.

So let them get over-confident. Let them come to Koch believing that they are going to repeat their victory and sweep the Shocks.

i missed the first five minutes or so, but i didn't hear him mention it once after that.

i know he went into a philosopical thing about how good pine time is if you don't play d or something- but what about if you're a turnover machine in a game?

The one common thing with our 2 losses, besides the turnovers, is Early getting into foul trouble in both games.

Good point, 1979. Early has become important enough that the Shocks need him on the floor more than just a few minutes in a given half.

I wouldn't expect much less from a program who was last relevant in 1998-99. Time for the Shockers to go back to work and start racking up the W's, I'm guessing that February 27th won't be a pleasant day for the Pimps.

I take it as they arent happy with this being the peak of their season. They want to continue to play well, and be playing their best ball come March.

Coach Simmons is a good guy and a good coach. He lnows the deal. Being 4-1 means nothing if you finish 10-8.

I listened on my drive home from 6:20 to 6:35 and I heard the turnovers mentioned at least once.
