I talked to Carl in the heskett center on Wednesday when we played Siu. he said he WILL return for the Illinois state game on wed the 16th and boy will we need him for both games.

My take is that's Carl's belief. He probably still needs clearance from the doctor on Monday.

If Carl does come back on Wednesday, I'm thinking we should sit another starter just to keep it fair. Maybe we'll just rotate the starters where they sit every fifth game. We'll bring them all back together in St. Louis.

When an opponent's best player is due back soon, and you aren't sure whether it's for your game or not, you aren't doing your job as a coach if you don't prepare for him It isn't realistic to think IlSt would simply assume that Hall won't play and thus ignore him in their preparations, regardless of what's said in this highly classified forum.
