I don't think Marshall will get an offer and I expect him to be here next year. This is just my gut feeling and is not based on any particular information. If he did go the USC and had a tough first or second year there, fans might look at his WSU record and say "Why did we hire him? He never proved that he can win at a level above Winthrop's level." An AD would be taking a risk if he hired GM this year. Just my thoughts.

There your problem, nobody else "feels" that way - that's the life of a message board. This will not go away until a coach is hired.

Be forewarned, there will be likely multiple discussions of:

3. Discussion of who SC might hire other than Marshall
4. Disucssion of if Marshall is hire, who will JS target
5. Conversation of the Brainwashed Eck Supports with their plea "give him a chance".

These discussion will occur over and over again.

Not nobody, SB. I also believe it's a dead issue, and in a world that has any contact with reality it would be.

But you're right; this is a message board, which by its nature has only a tenuous connection with reality when it comes to subjects such as this. Meanwhile, I'm with BA, only one better: Eck for Pope (after Benedict is gone, that is)!
