I have been wondering. Actually, wondering a lot. I have been wondering, when you are going to call and firm up a lunch meeting as you promised oh so long ago. I almost said, "Lunch date." Now that would have been fine and dandy.

By the way, Boomer Sooner Deer Slayer called and he is out of Wesley Psychiatric and back at home.

I think that is being nice. Poor execution is mild compared to what my wife and I thought about it. Apparently several facebook friends felt the same as us too.

I kind of expected some tricks or something. Instead it was just a corny talk from some guy whose life long dream was to strap monkeys onto the back of some dogs. He pulled into the parking lot at Koch just before the game with a huge expensive pick-up and trailer. I do not think he did it for free. Maybe they could get some piglets with a remote controlled hot air balloon and propeller strapped on them. Then we could see pigs fly.

I really HOPE that he paid WSU $$$$ to have the crowd entertain him. The only applause was when he begged for it for the monkeys and dogs.

I probably can't get tickets to next saturday but I'm already working on a trip to Omaha to see the season finale.

My 16 yr old son and I will be in full bloody-throat roar mode that night, surely to be the cause of much embarassment to the missus! All 10,000+ of us need to wildy cheer the Shox, boo the Jays, and ride the backsides of the officials for a full 40 minutes!

Whad-a-bout them thar Shocks? 15-1 is so nifty that my K-State and KU friends are telling me how proud of us even they are. Yikes--spooky-scary on that note. Now let me describe 15-1 and may some hay. Hey, we were not clickng 3/4 of the 1st half and down nine, (what?) wishing and hoping this game would be a gargantuan surpass. Naaaa, not goin to do it. Now, on the flip side, we have quite an imposing end game and That is what we dig.

3G said it best. "if we play like we did against SIU, Evansville will beat us." That I concur with but 'no thanks' because we don't need to get that started and we find ways to win. Sometimes, it is all about the match-ups. Keep the turnovers to a mild roar, D up for 40, rebound, and give me another big dose of that end game.
