In one sentence you have offended both the howler monkey community and everyone with ADD (although, the ADD group won't remember . . .)
If you take the high road, you won't find much traffic there . . .

Let me be clear. I meant good replacement as in substantial upgrade, not equivalent hire. I apologize for inadvertent offense to the aforementioned communities.

it was ,, but a ref friend of mine sitting next to me said that since it was an out of bounds play from the previous made basket that the 10 seconds would have started over again. and several seconds had already had ben off the clock previously. I don't know enuff to dispute that rule. but seem right to me , because you could theorrticly thow it in from under you own basket to the backcourt and still have a full 10 sec to cross midcourt.

Had to edit ,, next time I will finish reading the thread before sayn somethin LOL

            • Did anyone else notice the grin on Marshall's face when EO shot and missed, then got his own rebound and made the put back? :)

Glad I attended the game to see this special athletic specimen -- he was GodMiddleton?God!!!

But just so I can be sure to get it right when I tell my unborn grandchildren about this elite future NBA star, what number was he? Because they all looked the same to me.
Was he the unathletic white guy with the slow feet?...Oh, wait...

I did and it was great to see.

On a sidenote, the officiating was a bit erratic at times. As mentioned, Jake White was abused and ran over but never got a call. Meanwhile, NIU was flopping and getting the whistle. It's hard to get too upset about it in a 25 point shellacking though. Prolly was the difference from a 30 point victory.

I hate Tom Eads. He is not a good official IMO. He had a string of questionable calls all go against WSU at one period of time. He is not very good.

Maybe if Jake would not have twitched his eyebrow as he stood perfectly still for several counts and got pulverized, then he could get the benefit of still again sacrificing his body? Naaa--too much to ask on our Home court. Or maybe he could flop, yell, and do drama, as our foes and be better off? Dunno, but we need him healthy and in one piece.

And the M-guy tearing them a new one on offense was also named Malcom as well. He buried them with his 3's.

I was there, but those darn soft pretzels with cheese are sooo distracting.

Nothing like stale nachos per Rosewood or soft pretzels per Kung Wu to raise blood pressure levels through the roof baybay. Kung Wu, was there enough salt on them thar pretzels to turn a roaring river into the Dead Sea? As WstateU might say about now, "yipes, stripes, beechnut gum."

                          • Everyone is talking about Cotton and deservedly so -- he had a great game. But what about the last several games from Williams? Talk about stepping up! He deserved to start, but it makes me wonder who sits when Hall comes back? Nice problem to have (I think). It won't take Hall much time at all to get into playing shape because he may never be out of shape. With a broken thumb, he can still do cardio and be pretty much ready to go. But Baker is another story. He will take longer to come back, not only because his injury will take longer to heal but with it being the foot he won't be able to do as much to stay in game shape. And please may the basketball gods shine down upon us and say NO MORE INJURIES (and none of our guys getting into off-the-court problems). I think we have had enough diversity for one year.

Ah but the secret is to ask for unsalted! Now that you know they have unsalted, warm, soft doughy pretzels, don't be hoggin' 'em all! They are pretty darn good. If you get the salted ones, I hope you have your doctor on quick dial.

D-Will has stepped up. Really, just about all the guys have stepped up and contributed. I was really impressed with Jake White's effort against UNI coming off a game he missed with back spasms. EO's defenseive presence has been a key factor in the last 2 games especially even though he is till onto 100%. Nick maybe had the poorest game agaisnt UNI but he has also had is moments vs Charleston Soutern and Southern Miss. Let's hope Chadrack's back is nothing that will keep him sidelined. Malcolm showed that he can play tough and energized without being out of control emotionally. Fred has done a solid job backing up Malcolm at the point. And Cleanthony has proved he can be the go to guy for us.
