As it is, the speed of light is still the limit.

Are you saying that 299,792,458 meters per second is still the top end?

No, I don't think you recognize the potential because you never predicted this kind of start. And you are so fast to always make an excuse for what the other guy could have done. AFA is a poor shooting FT team. We don't know that? We didn't foul the right guy when he got in good position because 2 FT was a lot better for us than a bunny? VCU wasn't leg weary trying to come back against us time and again? You rarely give our kids credit for putting the other guy in a tough spot and you underestimate our staff's ability to abuse the other team's weaknesses I think.

What a fan. I doubt Gregg thinks this is house money and 6-2 would "elate" more than you and a couple of others.

I bet if I looked hard, you said the same thing before VCU, and about every other tough game, in any sport, in the last decade. It's never enough for you. If they beat UT, it'll be "come see me after CU" and on and on. Hell, if these guys go 34-0 through St. Louis, you'll be questioning the schedule and proclaiming disaster lurks right around the corner.

Nobody is saying we're Duke or Indiana but so far, nobody is better than this team on the floor, and last I checked, that's why they play the game. You're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem, now quit being part of the problem and put the other guy back on.

Who cares what John ******* thinks. We're in the polls, again, and getting national recognition, again. Enjoy the ride.
Well, well, well, it had to be either you or ABC who would chime in and denigrate my comments for the umpteenth time. Color me surprised. But that's what makes this country great - everyone has the right to get emotionally upset and make their own opinion over what someone else has commented on. However, for someone who exudes so much intelligence, I find it baffling how you fail to see my philosophy on how I support my Alma mater.

Whereas you take great delight for current and past successes, I spend very little time enjoying what any of the Shox programs have succeeded in and look toward the future. Now, this is not to say I do not take great satisfaction on what successes the Shox have garnered past or present, I truly love to see the Shox win. Rather, once the Shox win a game, my mind quickly transitions into 'onward and upward' mode. I begin to think of about what improvements need to be made and what potential obstacles stand in our way to achieving even more success.

Does it take 5 years for someone as intelligent as yourself to figure this out? Never, have I frowned upon how you, ABC or any other KC Shox hater choose to display your satisfaction over Shocker success (if memory doesn't fail me). However, I'm okay that you dislike the majority of my posts or dislike me for that matter. 5 years of jabs and stabs kinda' gets you used to that. In fact, ABC's disparaging comments have grown to be comical and I get a nice chuckle from them.

Doc, you and I could be best friends who have never met. We may enjoy the same things and have a lot in common, except for how we demonstrate our Shocker 'fandom'. The old KC Shox would have responded back to you in a negative manner, but 5 years of constant belittling and rebutting has oddly made me feel that if all of a sudden you or ABC ceased comments directed toward me, I would feel that a piece of me has been abruptly taken away and I would miss it and feel a strange emptiness.

That said, my dream for this program is to be as well known and have just as much if not more the success that Gonzaga and Butler has achieved. I dream to have a program that is not the program who has been to three NCAA tourneys in the past quarter century. We aren't there yet, once we are, the nit picky side of me will be diminished.

Thank you Doc for giving me the opportunity to clear the air, at least that's what my intention is.

Wow quite a retort from the guy who inspired KCShoxenfreude. For those not German, "schadenfreude" is pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others.

I think every poster on this fine forum knows what "KCShoxenfreude" means.

Dude, you broke out that moniker over a year ago. I expect better from you. Please don't recycle your old material, it oozes desperation.

My family certainly does. That beautiful young girl in my avatar is one of them. Classy of you to start referencing one's family and again attempt to insult me. Ahhhhh the beauty of the internet, courage is just a keystroke away.

Just enjoy the ride. If you're waiting for us to become Butler or Gonzaga, you're going to be unsatisfied for quite a while.
