    Dan,
In Hills defense, He is trying to fill the void of not having a legit #2 shooting guard. So he is pressing and playing out of control - and position.

Look this team does not have a legit shooting guard.
McGuiness was supposed to fill the role.
    How's that working out?

Please don't mention Bell filling that role.
    Just don't.

    Anybody else?
    Nope.

So Hill plays faster trying to fill the role.
He did it well winning the Western Ky game.

What help does have on this team to make a shot?
I guess Beverly made one against Minnesota.
    Thats really reaching!

    Anybody else?
    Nope. Nobody home.

    That is all.
Above all, make the right call.

Zion had 3 assists in 6 minutes with no turnovers. For comparison, HB had 4 in in 25, BC had 4 in 12, and Hill had 3 in 31, 8 turnovers between the three of them.

He needs to look to score more, but I've always thought in his limited minutes he saw the floor well and was secure with the ball. If we want any hope moving forward, keeping Zion needs to be #1 priority.

      • Thengvall can shoot. Period. No idea about the rest of his game. But he can shoot.

Absolutely. People forget (or too young to know) there was great individual talent sprinkled throughout the 90s.

            • All this matters little until our perimeter defense improves significantly. Tell me how that is going to happen?

Then he'd be an improvement over McGinnis.

                • Here's one for you just for fun. The 98-99 roster had Mo Evans, Jason Perez, Darrin Williams and Terrel Benton. Are you taking 24-25 or 98-99?

                  • I may be in a minority here, but I think Degray is a legit D1 player. May not get many minutes at the blue blood level, but I’d still take him on my team.

he's 6'6". He's ok. If he was 6'8", he'd still be at Mizzou

I like Zion and he does have some loyalty to PJ. I just remember that last year at this time people were saying most of the team can go but just make Rogers a priority and you see what happened there.

I got nothing. Gotta hope HCPM can motivate them on the perimeter D.

Yep. I said Rogers and Ballard and forget the rest. We managed to keep one. I thought maybe coming in the team would’ve been able to gel and that the experience would be worth something. Turns out we just have the oldest team of low IQ players. But at least they’re honor roll yay

                              1. Shocker overall D last Season ranked 7th in AAC. Right now ranked 11th.

                              2. Firepower.? Our FG % and FT stats are Slightly better this Season. 3 point % last Season Shockers ranked 9th at .333. This Season WSU is now ranked 11th at .309.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
