Given the situation we are in. I don't think anything affects his HC status in any way this year.

You were warned a month go this team could go off the rails come league play.
Unfortunately it has come to fruition.

WSU now resides in the AAC basement with the Charlottes and East Carolinas of the world.
And I do not see a way out of it.

The recruits HCPM and staff have brought on board are ORU level types.
They might be ok in The Summit Conference, but not the AAC and not even close.

The next month plus of WSU basketball is going to be tough to watch, endure.
Actually reminds one of teams back in the 90's - which I didn't think we would ever see again.

      That is all.
If you think Washington and Ballard are ORU-level types you need your head examined Ref. Both would be getting many minutes on Marshall's best teams. If... they survived practice. Which Washington absolutely would!

In fact, we have a ton of athleticism and ball-handling this year. Not the best shooters I will confess. And low-BBIQ.

We need HCGM to come in and run a couple practices to show the fellas what it takes if they want to make a splash on the national scene. I've seen glimpses of Play Angry this year. Just not near enough. Effort can overcome the talent gap. Coach needs to find a way to get through to these kids.

I think the players have seen Mills' game plans and figured out that they're not going to win any games with what Mills wants to do. Then they just gave up. Why try when there's no hope.

That would explain the lack of energy and the incredible downward trend of the quality of play since the beginning of the season. If my observations are halfway close to right, there has been an incredible display of negative player development this season.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Keeps us safely away from a 25-win season, which automatically adds a year onto Mills' contract.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

Straight up false equivalent. Did you watch the game Saturday?

We lost to UTSA by 20 .. there are no games left that would be worse than that. (add in losing to UMKC and it makes it doubly worse)

                      Cold,
You're a moron on here but even you deserves a response.
Washington I will grant you. Good player, good pick up. Same with Hill. AAC level players, agreed.
QB...ok, decent recovery from FSU. Yes he can block shots and dunk, but he can't shoot and has bad hands.
I see lots of guys @ D2 that can block shots and dunk. Doesn't make them AAC level players.

Talk to me about guys like McGinness? Low level player from lower level school.
                      Was recruited to shoot?
Maybe makes 20 percent of his takes. Terrible on defense which is why hardly sees the floor.

                      Yanis Bamba?
                      Seriously?

                      Meeks?
Damaged goods they knew from the start.

                      That is all.
Above all, make the right call.

                          Holy Schnikees!
Reminds me of the 90s. We always had a couple really good players and a bunch of guys that shouldn't be D1.

You're giving Justin Hill too much credit. He is way too streaky for a PG. If you're running the team you need to be the most reliable player on the floor.

He was a proven, solid SEC player. He's shown he's more than capable, but for some reason he's turned into a problem for us instead of our opponents.

I'd still like to see Pipkin get consistent minutes. Unless I spaced out and missed something, I thought he played solid enough in San Antonio in his limited court time to warrant a bit more. He handled the ball well and created some good opportunities for others.
