When this happened to the X-Man, he would go get rebounds with hustle and he had a nose for the ball. For us to be competitive in the AAC, the Shocks need to utilize Ballard more IMO. This road game will be more of a battle than some believe it seems now.

Actually Bell at 47% is our best shooter other than the 2 big guys. He is also our best 3 pt shooter at 40% and our best ft shooter at 87%. He also has the 3rd most blocks. His negative is he is tied with Washington for 4th in turnovers per game. He has less than Beverly, Cortes and Hill.

Yeah, I think the absolutely-need-a-bucket-and-a-stop lineup might be: Hill, Bell, Washington, Boz-knee-yak, Ballard.

Bell would be amazing if he would just learn how to feed Ballard in just 20% more of his possessions. His assist stats would go insane and he would find his drives more open for easier buckets.

He is really not a good assist guy. On the other hand it is hard to get the ball to Q when they have 2 or 3 guys on him every possession. Even Cortes can't get it to him very often. If our 3 point shooters would make shots it would help. Bell, Washington and McGinnis all shoot above 36%. When Beverly and Cortes are in they slack off of them to clog the middle. Beverly in particular is wide open in the corner every possession. The problem is he is a 20% 3pt guy.
