Playing a top 15 Florida is gonna be interesting

Win or lose tomorrow, playing Florida is the best outcome. Not a bad loss if we lose, great win if we win!

Shockers will have a chance to play themselves back into the Top 25 tomorrow. Been a longggg time

A few things:

1. First and foremost our Shocks held Garcia to 4 points which is as rare as pulling hens teeth, And fouled him out.

2. QB'S 3 out of 4 throws were huge as was J. Hill's last 2. We shot 71.4 and they shot 52.9

3. We might think our 3 pt shooting was atrocious at 28.6% today was painful (and it was). But the Gophers were 13%.
In need for AJ to start making more than so far.

4. Fast break points today hurt us. They beat us 16-2 on that along with 18-8 on points off turnovers even though we both had 12 turnovers.

5. Here is a stat that helped us even though alot of in the paint fouls were ignored. Points in the paint favored WSU 44-38. Take it to to rack Shocks. Also, we we do that and it is 1 on 3, another Shocker or two must be open?

6. We could sure use DeGray back as already often mentioned on here. Last Season the Shocks lost more than our share of close games. Thus, we needed Beverly's last second to go in and steal the OT victory that the Gophers had within their grasp in regulation. Sure glad we even got that golden opportunity instead of them fouling us. That all was a SHOCKER!

7. Washington and Hill have been solid additions for sure.

Couldn’t have been anymore lucky.

They dictated the pace and we did not capitalize on multiple chances to extend the lead.

X is about as frustrating as a player as we’ve had. Have to take the good with the bad. But man, hard to watch sometimes.

Our defense was wither either completely locked in A+… or we gave up a wide open dunk. All in all out of everything I was most pleased with effort on that end.

Played ourselves into a spot tomorrow where the game is completely played with house money. Play loose and see what happens.
