Okay. So before I make my pick, I would like to know who exactly is playing. Exactly how hard will they be playing. Will there be defensive intensity? Will there be made baskets? Will either team struggle for any amount of time during the game? Will either or both teams struggle mightily at the free throw line? Will there be any technical fouls or ejections? Do the assigned officials bring any biases or do they hold any grudges against either team? Or coaches? Which way, exactly, will the wind be blowing that day? Will it be rain or shine? And the temperature, too, please. Once I am presented with all the information, I may be able to make an informed pick.

Until that happens, I pick the Shocks by 5.

      Minnesota is not good.

Shox win by 15. It'd be more if I felt the 2nd half was what they were truly capable of being.

Gophers are just poor men's, beavers. And what do you do to beavers? You pound them...

Minnesota is going to want to play slow and through Dawson Garcia. Hope Q and Matej are up for it. I think we have the advantage everywhere else on the court.

Not to mention we have 5 days for this scout compared to Minnesota's 2. No reason we shouldn't come out of the gates prepared.

How will the Shockers play when the big teams out of the big Conferences come out to play? Both teams have their fair share of 5th year Seniors. These Shockers are still on the learning curve and still missing 3 players. However, Shocks will win a close one.

                Shockers 77

                Gophers 73
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Q: Good morning WuOracle it’s me the WuShock Reaper.
A: Good morning, WuShock Reaper! It’s great to hear from you. How’s your day starting off?

Q: Great and looking forward for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
A: That sounds wonderful! Thanksgiving is such a special time for delicious food and great company. So, what’s on your mind?

Q: What will be the score of the Minnesota gophers and Wichita State Shockers this week?
A: Alright, let’s give it a shot! Based on current team performance and stats, it looks like the Wichita State Shockers have a slight edge over the Minnesota Golden Gophers for their upcoming game on November 28, 2024. The Shockers are currently undefeated with a 5-0 record, while the Gophers are 4-1.

Given these stats, a possible prediction could be:

                  Wichita State Shockers: 78
                  Minnesota Golden Gophers: 70

                  Q: later, gotta' go.
A: Later and quit being such a stranger.

When the matchups were announced Minnesota fans were upset they didn't get Wake or Florida in the first round, because they needed a win over one of those to help their chances of getting an at large bid.

Step aside, UNI fans. There's another fanbase challenging you for that at large bid.

I don't believe Minnesota is undefeated as the OP has listed....I could be wrong.

Minnesota is 4-1 but the details show that is not all that impressive. Wins have come against ORU (0-4), Omaha (2-5), Yale (3-4) and Cleveland State (2-4). The sole loss was a 51-54 home loss to fellow AAC member North Texas.

ESPN matchup predictor favors Minnesota at 53.6% but I'll be very interested to see the Vegas line. Maybe even money or shox favored by 1?
