Joy was playing the 4 - a position he's never played before. That's how thin WSU's frontcourt is if there are injuries.

Only five players for us scored. What upset me the most tonight is that we simply did not play hard for the first 35 minutes. MB only took four shots in 34 min hitting all four. Needs to be more aggressive on offense.

I'd really like to know what the gameplan was, because I didn't see anything resembling a plan.

You guys are ripping on the game plan thing, but no game plan in the world will help players who are just going through the motions.
Those guys in the 1st 4 minutes looked like they saw Monmouth's record and thought the game was a lay down.
Cortes looked like he had been hitting a king sized blunt before the game. Dude looked stoned.
I understand DeGray being hurt, he hit the floor freaking hard on that foul. Trust me, that floor is not padded.

Joy played with energy and gave the impression that 'This is the chance I've been waiting for!'
He just earned more minutes in my book!

And I know I've mentioned the Meeks injury status issue multiple times, but if he is still limping around the gym, Joy better get used to playing whatever position needed.
The old saying 'next man up' saying applies here.

Monmouth seemed to double MB a lot when he got the ball down low, forcing him to pass it back out. Would like to see more off-ball movement in those situations so that the offense doesn't get as stagnant.
