I'd respectfully say take off your blinders. Griffin is financially set for life and it's completely plausible he'll chose to never coach another day in his life. Doesn't mean he won't but he'll never have to work another day in his life if he so chooses.
Griffin might have no interest in coaching again, my guess is as good as yours on that.

I will say there were a number of football coaches/coordinators that have openly said they left for the NFL because of the NIL and portal mess. So, while not basketball, there are college coaches that have left that aren't of retirement age.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

Carpenter Place - A blessing to many young girls/women
ICT S.O.S - Great local cause fighting against human trafficking

Anybody read the latest Taylor article?
“The margin between whoever is first and whoever is 13 (in the AAC) is pretty slim,” Mills said.
LOL okay my guy. Sure. Also comments we’ve got the internal fortitude and just need to shore up defense a bit. This guy is so lost honestly

It would be interesting to see the numbers on coach movement between CBB and the pros before and after NIL/portal as well as the number of college coaching retirements per year.

Why would someone making millions a year retire and lose that paycheck? Certainly not any younger coaches. The old guys who are set for life don't need the big paycheck and are more likely to leave because of NIL/portal.The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

And he knows nothing about coaching defense and his history as a HC only proves that.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

That, or he really wants to coach at WSU and knows that he needs to take the job when it's offered. Sort of like being really comfortable in your house, but when your dream house in that one neighborhood hits the market, you know you need to jump on it.The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.
