When the selection committee starts looking at overall records and RPI's, there shouldn't be a team tied to a record where it can influence the committee members. Instead, each team should be assigned a computer generated random number, code, or name. After the committee makes their decision based on the record, RPI, good wins, bad losses, etc, then the team tied to each particular record can be revealed.

The only real brick was the SIU loss. That was a bad loss or our RPI would still be 30-35.Comment

UNI is a game you gotta win if you are a top 25 team. We beat them by 30 the first time. Indy St, at home. You gotta win. Its at home. Those games are bricks if you ask me. yes, we have BAD losses (SIU, Drake, Morehead St.), the loss at ILS doesn't look so bad anymore, but our wins over Miami, Ole Miss, Creighton and Wichita State are probably what got us those 5 votes. I think that's worthy of the 5 votes we received.Originally posted by Dan View PostComment
