First, I don't know how I feel about Boobs in spam. I mean, I don't like spam at all. But I obviously like boobs. But when the boobs are generic with just a Wu copy and pasted on them I feel like I'm getting boob cheated. I guess to break the tiebreaker in my feelings I look to the poor formatting of the message and rule that I don't like it.

Second, and actually on topic, my Shocker Pessimism makes me wonder if we will get ranked. There are definitely teams that need to drop out after having really a really shitty week. It also continued to bother me that VCU is in front of us when we have the better record. (But I do have to admit that VCU has a good resume so I'm not too bent up over it). I have felt that CU's ranking was purely based on their preseason love but at the same time, they didn't play their way out of it. They still haven't. They still deserve at Top 20 spot ... but so do we.

And that's why my Pessimism says we will get snubbed. But I'm married so I'm used to being wrong.

PS - I wasn't offended by the boobs. I was offended by the lack of effort put into it. Give me some original boobs to look at and not some copy and paste job.

There were A LOT of teams that lost yesterday.

Combine that with a big win over a Top 12 team on national tv, 17-2, and well Seth Davis has already let the cat out of the bag.



We will be ranked tomorrow, guaranteed. The question is, do we move past our previous high of #23?

Here is another ballot. Bret Strelow. Last week he had WSU unranked. This week he has WSU at #20 right in front of VCU.

We only have 1 road game against a top 100 team over the next 4 weeks. The table is set for us to go on a rampage and make a serious move. I like our chances.

I really like the way this is shaping up, especially those last two ballots. We have only seen 5 out of the 65 ballots but we are not only ranked on all 5 of them but we are ranked #20 or higher on all of them.

This is a very good sign. I am feeling very optimistic that we will be back int the AP top 25 come Monday. I am also feeling cautiously optimistic that we will make the coaches poll as well.

I was just saying that I don't think we'll do any better than 20. I'd max us out at 21 but don't have that much faith in the voters as a whole. I'd love to be pleasantly surprised.

That's why I said we were guaranteed to be ranked and the only question remained was whether we would break 23rd. I'd be thrilled and ecstatic with 20 or 21. That's a huge jump. And judging now by 5 consecutive early ballots, I think it's likely it'll happen. So really, there's not much carrying away at all.
