More important is that some ranked teams lose. The problem with the polls over the last couple of weeks is that very few of the ranked teams are losing games.

This. We also need to take care of business at Drake. I was talking to a Shocker fan last night who usually goes to the games in Des Moines and we are 1-4 there in the last 5 years.

That's pretty much it. Rankings most times are like a fashion show and look at just the surface.

K St has a win against ranked Florida (#8 at the time), we have a win against VCU (best win). They have 2 loses, both to ranked teams Gonzaga (#14) and Michigan (#4) our loss is to a lower team, TN. That's what's on the surface.

Looked deeper and you see that their next best win is against a 175+ RPI North Florida. WSU has much better wins with USM and Iowa, plus Air Force, DePaul, Tulsa, and now UNI, all better than, (some much, much better), than K St's 2nd best win. We have played 3 away games and 2 neutral, K St 1 away and 2 neutral. Their Projected OOC SOS is 132, ours 51. Their current RPI is 72, ours 17.

A lot of it will boil down to how the refs call the game. Slow whistles, we win easily. Quick whistles, it will be a dogfight to the end. No pun intended.
