A quick look at the temperature of college basketball as we head into a new week: Coaches Hot: Wichita State made a smart move when it restructured coach Gregg Marshall's contract in March. He's making seven figures now. But will that be enough to stop a bigger program from making another run at him, now that he's led the Shockers to an 8-0 start (wins over VCU, Iowa) despite losing most of his top contributors from last season? Bigger question: Will he listen?
You'd think someone at ESPN would be more on top of things. He hit seven figures a few years before last season and I believe is a little over 1.5 now.
Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan
      RIP Guy Always A Shocker
Carpenter Place - A blessing to many young girls/women
ICT S.O.S - Great local cause fighting against human trafficking
Wartick Insurance Agency - Saved me money with more coverage.
Save Shocker Sports - A rallying cry

Just ask 'Cold', he has it down to the penny.

That is reality. If we were in a BCS conference, we'd be at least top 15 with that record.

Not sure about that, but Bardo was Dr Beggs neighbor growing up in Illinois. Maybe thats what you are thinking of.

You have seriously GOT to be kidding me?

I, for one, do not believe for a second that you would ever qualify to even TAKE an SAT exam.

I've read a decent amount of Myron's stuff over the last couple of years. He's definitely not the brightest, nor sharpest knife in the drawer. He always seems to be a tick off in whatever he talks about.

Haven't we already been through this before? Hasn't Marshall already turned down "bigger" programs while at here before? The coaching salary plug was completely off. Seriously, Myron. Do some freaking research before you go spouting. At least try to back 1 of the 3 fallacies you made.

HCGM should be pretty close to $1,582,000.00 for the 2012/2013 season.

You are forgetting the Final Four bonus.

Gregg Marshall would appreciate you not referencing that poll in any way as it relates to the Shockers. Thank you.
