Disappointing defeat for UNI. The loss against Louisville was almost a given heading into this tournament, but they really needed to beat Stanford or Memphis.

This tournament did only one thing for UNI...prove that they are not a tourney caliber team. Without a magnificent finish to the non-con, they have no chance of an at-large.

On the same note, former opponent NC Central lost a barn burner to Wagner today by the score of 38 to 36. I don't know if you could pay me to watch a game like that. I take that back, I can be bought.
