I wanted to keep CR and we are worse off without him.
However, you can certainly replace some of his production with exactly what you mentioned. Colby was awful at finishing on anything but a jump shot. But boy was he good at shooting.
Key here is... You have to replace him with what you mentioned. Otherwise we will be getting worse, no doubt.

**** me. Honestly. I understand him transferring but this just feels like the Austin Reaves scenario where he’ll stand a decent chance of making the NBA and we’ll be known as the schools he transferred from.
At least we’re keeping Ballard, but with Rogers gone, I expect Mills to be making major moves. He was exceptional (despite what some of you crazies say). Replacing him and keeping the same roster for the most part is a recipe for disaster.
Really wish he stayed.
Don’t suppose there is a chance he could stay, depending on who we get? After all that’s kind of what happened with Pohto, no? I know I shouldn’t get my hopes up.

Also as much as I wanted to keep him, and I had hopes we might…. Past behaviors are pretty good predictions of future decisions. And Colby transferred twice already. Clearly doesn’t bother him, which is his prerogative. But I wondered about him for that reason alone.

Maybe this has been expected and there's a plan, but I'd think it would be very difficult to be ADKS and his staff trying to renew SASO memberships during this period. They better hope for some good news by May 1. You can bet Colby had a lot of people in his ear during the second half of the season.

3.6 assists is nice compared to Rogers though!"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!
