Colby was one of two we HAD to keep. Only player with shooting gravity. If we don't replace him with someone of equal shooting ability we will be worse next year

Yeah, I was tough on him early in the year, but he literally carried our offense. Record setting shooting performance with the program in one season. It's going to be nearly impossible to replace his production.

Hopefully we replace Colby's shooting with more than one player who can shoot. Having two 36% three point shooters is likely more beneficial to one guy who shoots 40%, especially if the replacements can provide value in areas where CR was weak (defense, driving, passing).

I agree, we will need more than 1 player to replace Rogers. Which makes me even more sad lol

**** me. Honestly. I understand him transferring but this just feels like the Austin Reaves scenario where he’ll stand a decent chance of making the NBA and we’ll be known as the schools he transferred from.

At least we’re keeping Ballard, but with Rogers gone, I expect Mills to be making major moves. He was exceptional (despite what some of you crazies say). Replacing him and keeping the same roster for the most part is a recipe for disaster.

Really wish he stayed.

Realistically, I wonder what his actual upside is. Mid-level ACC team? Lower level SEC team? Or is he just after his last year bag and go anywhere?

Missouri State's Alston Mason is in the portal. 6'2, 17.5 PPG, 35% 3FG, 3.6 APG. Also had 2.4 turnovers, but did play 35 minutes per game.

He could also need a reset after a long losing season, just someplace new after going through the gutter. I’d be in the same position. If you’re valuable, why do you want to stay at a losing school? **** like this will continue until Mills starts to win. Unfortunately.

Maybe this has been expected and there's a plan, but I'd think it would be very difficult to be ADKS and his staff trying to renew SASO memberships during this period. They better hope for some good news by May 1. You can bet Colby had a lot of people in his ear during the second half of the season.

We've struggled to get shooters to Wichita so finding 2 instead of just needing one isn't good

But damnit...we already turn it over enough. Let alone adding someone with almost 1 more turnover than Rogers had lol

3.6 assists is nice compared to Rogers though!
