Pretty selective considering all of the mistakes I am seeing numerous players making without consequences.

I know you support these guys and love you some Pohto, but you needed to see KP's act yesterday to get the true gist of his crap.
Look I rarely agree with rjl, He/it is a flaming libtard and we do not see eye to eye.
But we agree with KP and yesterdays BS on the floor yesterday.

KP didn't want to be there, didn't want to play and certainly didn't want to expel any energy.
HCPM was being nice by letting him on the plane to go home.

I would have made him walk to the airport. At least he would have worked doing something.

I suppose what I want— for Mills to actually admit what’s really wrong and almost do what Pitino did (he said his players suck lol)— just isn’t possible coming from a coach like Mills. Unacceptable to have heard this so many games this year. Playing for your university used to mean something. The transfer portal and NIL have a significant hand in that, I think.

When kids played for their universities in the past, they were committed for several years or had to sit out a year to transfer out. Being committed to a university like that made them want to be better than the previous years team. The seniors would be the mental leaders, guiding young guys through the ups and downs.
Compare today's kids who are brought up on video game resets if they are losing. The transfer rules or lack there of, give players a similar option as the video game resets. If they get on a team that is bad or not getting playing time, rather than work to improve, they reset by transferring out.
We can thank our courts for tearing down amateur athletics as it was. I'm not sure if or how it will ever recover other than write your congressman and push for laws that protect amateur athletics. Without those laws, the courts have to decide based on laws that don't directly relate to amateur athletics, but do relate to labor laws.

100%. I get that he was trying to keep the spirits up to a certain point, but this season is done. Barring some sort of miracle finish in Ft Worth, we're toast. He might as well start speaking some truths so he can at least let the fans know he sees what we see. As for the "we just didn't have the energy" type comments from the players, he needs to pull anyone not showing energy right from the start. I don't care if we get our asses handed to us, I wanna see players that show some fire out there.

Had he played poorly I would not have defended him. He did not play poorly and did NOT have a negative impact on the game. Go back and look ! All you haters are focused on him and pounce at almost anything. Look at the two plays in two minutes where DR was simply lost on defense giving up four points and so many other really bad errors by others. Our assists to turnovers are so bad it makes it almost impossible to win. All of our ball handlers dribble looking for their own shots and seldom see the court at all. THAT, my friend, Is the teams biggest problem and the coaches have not addressed it. And who is probably the best passer and DOES look for open team mates? KP !

My dude, I’ll be happy to admit Pohto’s not a bad center. However, if everybody else here, in even this pool of deranged shocker fans, agrees that Pohto gave zero shits last and that he looked awful, except for you, then you really got to look in the mirror.

Everybody was bad yesterday in all facets, including KP.

Yesterday’s game was not the correct one to defend Pohto with.

No, we didn't lose due to KP. No one is saying we did. But he was more ho-hum than anyone else. And it's not the "KP is slow" kind of reaction. It is KP is slow and STILL half assed himself down the court, barely attempted to guard...etc.

There were others with low energy, but his level was even below theirs. You are blinded. My dude.
