WSU visits a team who is red hot at home this Season at 11-1 with 8 home wins in a row. Both teams have a new coach and were only picked 8th and 9th in Lindy's Mag. The 49ers have found a way to consistently win close games and have been the surprise of the AAC this Season at 10-2 with several upset wins as listed in the Prediction Thread. Contrast that with WSU who are a disappointing 2-10 in the AAC with no Conference road wins so far. This game still seems evenly matched, but will the Shockers be able to rise above the same woes that have plaqued them all Season long? This game is 11 a.m. Sunday on ESPN2. See y'all then.

I predict the game will not be rained out. Now whether or not the Shockers actually play basketball tomorrow remains to be seen.
Once we get by Charlotte looks like the remaining schedule lightens up quite a bit.
vs Tulsa (4-9), vs Temple (1-11) @ UAB (8-3), vs Rice (3-9), and @ Tulane (4-8)
3 of 5 the games against perhaps the 3 weakest opponents remaining are at home. Still I don't think I can venture a guess on how many of these we might win.

And even, and even if we win, if we win, HAH! Even if we win! Even if we play so far over our heads, that our noses bleed for a week to ten days. Even if God in Heaven above comes down and points his hand at our side of the court. Even if every man, woman and child, held hands together and prayed for us to win, it just wouldn’t matter cause all the really good looking girls would still go out with the guys from SMU, because they got all the money. It just doesn’t matter if we win or lose. IT JUST DOESNT MATTER, IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER!
