There appears to be a significant drop of from Hunt, a 6-0 grad transfer from Wagner, and Mikkel Tyne, a 5-10 freshman, who has started in his place over the past 2 games.

He had missed Richmond's last 2 games as I noted in my scouting report above but I did not have any information as to why or if he would be available to play against the Shocks.

This should be a real test for our 7-man rotation. They usually have more players playing a minimum of 12 minutes per game which is more bodies than we have scholarship players.
In their 61-68 road loss to Boston College their top 6 guys (including DeLonnie Hunt) played a total of 160 minutes scoring 51 of their 61 point with 2 other guys playing 27 minutes and scoring 6 points. Two other guys, including the freshman Mikkel Tyne played the other 13 minutes combining for 1 rebound, 1 turnover and 2 steal and missing all 4 shots they took.
In their 59-64 neutral court loss to Colorado their top 6 guys (including 17 minutes from DeLonnie Hunt before his injury knocked him out of the game) played 135 minutes with Mikkel Tyne playing 22 minutes in place of Hunt) for a total of 157 minutes. Those 7 guys scored 57 of Richmond's 59 points. 3 other guys split the remaining 43 minutes and contributed 2 points on 1 of 6 from the field, 7 rebounds, 1 blocked shot and 2 turnovers.
My point is, there are minutes played and then there are other minutes played. In their last 2 games without Hunt the top 7 guys scored 78 of 82 points against UNLV and 81 of their 90 points against Queens.
So it looks to me like it's their 7 best guys against our 7 best guys. That said their 7 best guys are certainly capable of beating our 7 best on any given night.

Where are you getting Richmond having played 10 games? I see 6 games listed on their schedule with Hunt having played in the first 4 games. Also their 4 wins over VMI, Sienna, UNLV and Queens were by an average margin of 26.5 points. So a lot opportunities to get guys minutes were plentiful.

Yes, there are minutes played and there are minutes played. Nevertheless, we start off with a very short bench. Normally, that means more minutes for that short bench. Unfortunately, #8 and #9 on that bench is not getting much, particularly one who we thought was going to be a regular contributor.
Not saying we won't beat Richmond, but if we cannot lean a little more on Jacob and freshman Joy I., it may really start to wear on us. We are 1 injury away from a potential disaster.
