A specialty of NSU is getting to the charity stripe alot. Tonight the Shocks had slightly over twice the throw attempts that they had.

When the Shocks have under 10 turnovers and play inside/out basketball, good things happen.

Perhaps a better start than many on here were expecting. But I don't count the Friends game. But 5-1 in our D-1 games is a good start. However, what I am more upbeat about is that the team does seem to generally be getting better as the season progresses. Hope that continues although there will not doubt be some hiccups during the year.

D. Ridgnal gave us a sweet boost as soon as he got in the game. He made the most of his 20 minutes played with stats in many columns. I'm sure glad we got him and he is still our leading rebounder per minutes played.

All I care is that the games are fun to watch again. So far, boneheaded plays seem to be the exception rather than the rule, and there's some discipline out there. Players aren't just chucking up some bullshit simply because the clock is running out.

Mills is doing a great job figuring out how to use Pohto and Ballard on the court together.

These guys are being developed and well coached.
I spoke badly of KP recently and feel he deserved it. But these last 2 games he has kept the ball high and attacked. His aggressiveness is now coming out. Great job!

Made it back to the hotel from the game. Roads were nasty. Lots of accidents. The team played pretty well. I was really impressed with Beverly. Great game management. 8 assists and no turnovers. Our two bigs were great and Ridgnal with great effort tonight. I like this team. We really shared the ball tonight.
