I want to see more of this on offense moving forward.

Pohto should touch the ball nearly every possession he's in.

      Defense has to improve.

It was nice to see Beverly not forcing things tonight. Easily his best game.

I will take a 13 point win over a pretty decent Norfolk State team especially when Bell and Rogers combine to shoot 3-19 (15.8%).

Thankfully Norfolk State cooled off over the final 10 minutes of the game hitting only 4 of 18 shots from the field. Not sure it was anything we did. Maybe just putting a bit more effort and determinaion into our defense. Quincy's rim protection was a significant factor in that.

HCPM outcoached the Norfolk coach with a lot of nice half time adjustments.

Ballard is quite the shot blocker and an excellent game tonight. Kenny P. Could not be stopped. Beverly made a beautiful pass. 20 assists. We will take it. 6-1.

Beverly has shown flashes throughout the year. Good to see him put together a complete game. He's the best facilitator from the guard spot on the team.

Mills called a timeout after the run by NSU in the 2nd half and then the offense started running through Pohto and the Shox took control. Brilliant display of coaching by Mills.

When Pohto is assertive, he's the best player in a Shocker uniform. Great game young man. The Shox are now 6-1 and haven't blown a game they were expected to win yet. Go Shox!

Ballard calls for the lob and Bev gives him a bounce pass instead. Can't believe the big guy could adjust like that and complete the dunk

Wichita looks cold tonight. 60° here in Scottsdale might have to put on socks. Cheers

Good TO, doubt it was a new thought, probably a STRONG reminder of what they were supposed to do vs the zone

                          • I'll take 20 assists to 8 turnovers any day and 2 or 3 of those turnovers were just careless plays.

XB's drives into the lane weren't yielding anything tonight but he did contribute 7 rebounds, 5 assists (vs 3 turnovers) and 3 steals. Norfolk also did a good job takin CR out of his game and while he had 6 rebounds and not much else.

I hope DR is okay. Love the energy he brings to the floor coming off the bench. Won't be long and I will be calling him Hondo.

That's what Shane Denns was saying all night. I think I recall a better start. There was one that started at 7-0 - and then won the next 28 as well.
