No, there in an "extra" 12 seed and an "extra" 11 seed. We are a few teams from the last one in.

I don't see the bracket makers doing us that kind of a favor as an 11 seed. We'll be shipped to Auburn Hills or Salt Lake City. Lunardii might get a large majority of the correct teams into his brackets, but he's generally wrong in regards to seeding and location.

      • Good Luck Shocks..............expect you to be in the field somewhere.........enjoy the ride and inflict some MVC misery on a team or two or three.

Today, I ran into a former Shocker player from way back. I told him I wanted us to play K-State. However, I wonder too if we even get the Kansas City connection. That might make the Tourney too much extra loot from the fans that would attend. Look for KU and K-State to be handed that advantage. This former player wasn't too eager to play K-State too early, but understood we would be seeded much higher too if not for our injuries all Season long.

We jointly agreed that we need Cle to step up and play a key role at the Dance. Before the Season ever began, I felt we could Dance and win a game or 2. We are healthy now and I bet the Shockers are working overtime on our shooting. Our assets that allowed us to overcome these injuries issues was our stingy D. and our rebounding. Only because of our quality depth did we still find ways to win games through adversity. Now let's hope we make shots at a torrid pace starting by establishing high % shots inside first and foremost and then hit the mid-range and 3's as well. If so, we could make some racket and surprise some folk and be scary good, no matter where we play, or who we play. We respect all Teams and fear nobody.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

                  • Lunardi finally putting something together that's good for the Shocks. Against a damaged UCLA team in Kansas City and then either the Jackrabbits of SDSU or the Wildcats of Kansas State.

WAAAAAAY too good to be true.

That interview lasted about 10 seconds.

A dream bracket that would still be tough, but very winnable to the Su-weet 16. For selling tickets, put all 3 Kansas Teams in KC.

I would think that Creighton would more likely be in KC than us.
