Doesn't look like anyone showed up! That's why there's no crowd shot! No one wants to hear Mills! He needs to be trying to find another point guard or two! It's bad enough that the Shox will be lousy this year and end up in the lower half of the conference if not last place.

When Mills was hired I took a "wait and see" attitude. So far my "wait" has "seen" two empty scholarships when the remnants in the portal are the guys struggling to stay in D1 ball, only one PG on the roster, and only having a converted post and a raw guy at PF.

Then there's what could be a program-killing hire in baseball. What decent baseball player wants to play for a coach who finished 10th in his previous league? Green is going to have to win with lower-level recruits.

Saal shook some money loose, but apparently not enough to make a splash hire in basketball. Then his next hire (Green) is REALLY looking like a dud. Apparently players were in the portal because they didn't care for Hibbs' coaching style. Apparently they care for Green even less, because there's not much coming out of the portal, and Tolle, who was waiting to see who the next coach would be didn't waste much time entering the portal.

Saal can definitely talk the talk, but he's stumbled trying to walk the walk.

Mills better win and put butts in seats or the athletic department may not be able to afford to put a track and field team into the shiny new track facility that's being built. The donor pool for baseball has been drained.
