If I get my cocktails at a dive bar, does that define my "cocktail attire"?
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

And if one of us had a nice jacket we could let the next guy in wear it. We used to do this for fraternity pictures. One or two guys in the house had a nice blazer and we would each wear it when it was out turn for the pictures. Whoever says we were rich effete snobs never knew our house. Right Lax?

I received my response from Ashleigh Houghton, the Director of Volleyball Operations, to my inquiry about the status of the Volleyball Dinner and Auction in light of the new Black and Gold Gala and it confirms @ WuDrWu statement that this is not in addition to those prior Dinners and Auctions.

Thanks for your email. Yes, this will actually replace the auction as what we are doing is combining all sports into one evening. We are still working out the details however, I believe that specific auction items will be going towards specific programs. I’m currently out of town but planned to get more specific information out to you all after our meeting on Friday!

Shine on decision making is rapidly losing it’s luster imho.

Winning fixes everything, and I’m fine with John Q. Public taking a back seat for a few years while Saal courts the deep pockets. Once he gets the money that actually funds operations rolling back in, we can have the crumb parade for us peasants again.

We could start collecting buy game checks for basketball like he did at Murray State for football. Pretty good way to make the balance sheet look better during your tenure.

I don’t understand this statement. Is there some issue with Saal and his fundraising? Not understanding.
