I was going to say I've heard of them, but upon doing a Google search there is a band called Aces & Eights in just about every genre and based out of every state in the union. Slight exaggeration, but there are many bands from all over the country.

There's a blues band out of New York

    Classic Rock/Modern/Alternative out of Michigan

    Rock out of Australia

    Punkabilly out of Idaho

    Unknown out of Canada

    Country out of Maine

Cover band covering 70's thru today out of Arizona

    Rock/Country out of Iowa

    Rock out of Los Angeles

    Alt Rock out of Ireland

Country Rock out of Wichita (Most likely band)

    Unknown out of Texas

    Country out of Connecticut

I'm done looking up bands, but I'm sure there are more.
Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan
    RIP Guy Always A Shocker
Carpenter Place - A blessing to many young girls/women
ICT S.O.S - Great local cause fighting against human trafficking
Wartick Insurance Agency - Saved me money with more coverage.
Save Shocker Sports - A rallying cry

If you are unable to attend the Black and Yellow Gayla you can make a donation through the ticket office in $50 increments, which is what I will be doing in addition to donating an item for the auction.

Only 4 days away now. Hopefully, this will prove to be a successful event. No idea how ticket sales are going.

No doubt it will be the best one ever since this is the first one. Not sure the marketing effort lives up to Brent's hype. But I'm sure the marketing has been very targeted towards season ticket holders and SASO members.

I will not be attending this event this year but have donated an item (a black and yellow Shocker themed quilt my better half made) and I have made a modest cash donation.

I am not sure WSU will report to me what the Shocker quilt goes for (I think it will be in the silent auction). If any of you are going and happen to think about it, I would appreciate if you would check out the quilt and let me now for what it goes for.

If it raises a decent amount I might be able to convince my wife to put together another quilt for next year.

Stole this from a post on another thread by WstateU

The 2 live auction items should attract some nice bids. And as I mentioned on that other thread I know of a silent auction item that would make a nice cover for the pool table. However, I am hoping that slient auction item goes to a Shocker baseball season ticket holder as it would come in handy during those cool/cold early to mid-season games.

Wish I could be there. Instead, I have to attend an OUTDOOR wedding. It will be 103 at tip off.
