According to Sully's Shockwaves Blog on June 13th 3G would like to have a hire made by the end of next week.
Marshall wants to have an assistant coach hired by the time his “high-intensity” (formerly known as elite or prospects) camp begins on June 23. That would give the new coach a chance to look at players on the recruiting list in Wichita and get in gear before July recruiting periods begin. “I just got off the phone with a guy who was calling about a prospective coach,” Marshall said. “It’s hard, because you’ve got so many qualified people. It’s my least favorite part of the job. You have to tell so many qualified, nice, good people that you can only hire one.”
