Sorry, I don't keep up with all the odds & ends during the long offseason but is Nic Moore really leaving Normal?

Moore has been given his release. There is no info about where he's going. Moore says he's going to a BCS school, but there doesn't seem to be much interest from BCS schools. The only rumored interest is that Moore and Notre Dame have "mutual interest".

There's been some talk about Illinois as well.

That's 12 players without Uwadiae or Hawkins. If either or both get NCAA clearance, they're added players, but they won't change the overall picture much and they're not really needed this year. That's also not including a JuCo AA walkon (Mitchell). 4 Seniors who will wee significant minutes.

As someone else has noted, Lufile can be added as a post guy and a 13th player with Uwadiae and Hawkins TBD, but what I'm still trying to figure out is what it means for four seniors to "wee significant minutes." Somehow I just don't like the sound of that.

Speaking of Moore, I guess there was a tweet recently that said he has three finalists on his list. Those would be Purdue, Illinois and Notre Dame. Someone also mentioned that Michigan may be in the mix as well. And from reading the Illinois State board, his mom doesn't seem to be too pleased with all of this. I'm assuming it's his mom anyway.

Some good news for the Birds though came recently when Coach Muller apparently landed Canadian PG Kaza Keane who he was recruiting while at Vandy. Keane recently reclassified from '13 to '12 and sounds like he'll give ISU a nice FR option at PG.
