  • the way the shockers were playing in february/march, neither of those teams (uab, unt) looked much better than wichita state. kind of like mirror images.

mills has his work seriously cut out for him next year, though. he'll probably have to contend with a boatload of newcomers, too.

The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

More upside. Larger enrollments, larger cities and or endowed funds available

That's going to be a hard YES for me.

The areas on the NE corner of 21st and Hillside and on the NE corner of 17th and Oliver are very quiet and peaceful.

                  Well-played.

It is sad that those areas hold campus back. In that it’s both weird to have cemeteries next to campus and that it hampers the potential land use. I don’t think there’s a scenario where that changes.

                  • 21st and Yale? North to 29th and east to Oliver is all single family dwellings You could lower 21st street from Oliver to Hillside as they have on Kellogg and create extra large walk ways over 21st so as to not cut it off from the main campus. As far as parking garages go you could dig down several levels and create green spaces instead of surface parking lots Eliminates the need for snow and or ice removal and improve the aesthetics of the campus. Just spit balling here while I help the wife recover from surgery yesterday. Go Shocks

                    • The next move is to go S of 17th inward a couple of blocks. In fact it is already happening. Student and Faculty apartments, more satellite offices, maybe a new International Student Center to replace the old, dilapidated one they use, and whatever else they can use that won’t conflict with Braeburn.

Good news is it also prevents the government from building subsidized housing or something worse like a mobile home park.

You do have Fairmount Park that is pretty vacant but the Geology Department would have to use a different area for the Field Mapping course.
