Still in the portal. I have no idea if HCPM is really interested in Pierre. There is some question about whether Pierre fits with our biggest need seemingly being a point guard. My guess is Pierre will not be returning, but never say never.

      • I don’t think Pierre would be happy with the competition next year. Rogers will most likely take most of his minutes.

This looks like it would have taken hours… what kind of job do you have where you can do this during work hours ?! That’s awesome

I essentially collect and organize data so the billing team doesn't have to. Some days, I don't have as much to do as jobs are still active and I'm waiting on data to come in.

With that said, I was still doing work during all of this, but between working on jobs I can pull things up. I just scrolled through the VC site and looked at only uncommitted PG/PF and then had ESPN pulled up to do a quick search of their stats. Nothing major. I left off guys that did next to nothing. These were just the "best" of the options available.

I will admit, it took longer than I expected it to as there are a **** ton of guys labeled as PGs. I swear there were a couple of schools that had 4 or 5 PGs each in the portal.

On the guys that did basically nothing, I wonder if they were sitting behind a talented starter but maybe have potential in the right program.

In some cases it might be possible. But considering a lot of them were at low to mid level schools it's likely that the majority of them did not. I did leave off some guys who did nothing at P5 schools that it could account for, though most of them were at bad P5 schools. Then there were guys who played a decent amount and still did next to nothing.

What caught my eye was that the vast majority of PGs with any experience have absolutely atrocious A/TO ratios. There were some exceptions, but only one or two that seemed to actually be good in that department and a few more that might be workable with the right guidance.

Though in my mind we need a PG that could at least contribute if not be the starter. We already have a PG project FR coming in and could use at least a solid PG to push Cortes, or at least support him.

I'm sure NIL was a factor, but I'll never get these guys who can't crack the rotation at a P5 program over multiple seasons and then transfer to... *checks notes* another P5 program. It works out for some, but you risk riding pine your entire college career.

I get what you're saying, but few P5s are as loaded with talent as UK on a consistent basis.
