We shot 1-21 from three. 4.8%. I've been watching college basketball since I was a little kid and I don't think I've ever seen a team shoot 1-21 from three. I'm sure it's happened, but I've never seen it personally. Something is seriously wrong here.

Based on a sports-reference query (very helpful site btw), it’s only the second time all year a team has shot below 5% from 3.

That’s partly an anomaly but partly consistent with the way we shoot the basketball. For some context, we came into this game ranked 282 (out of 363) in the country in 3P% at 31%.

When I watched this Pierre Jr dude bring the ball up the court, take 3 steps into the front court and jack up a 30' air ball in crunch time, I saw all I needed to see and know about this team.
He immediately came out of the game and was consoled by HCIB.

The only semblance of crunch time offense after that was hoping the 5'6" walk on PG could drive and force up a shot, hoping to draw a foul.

Jeezus. It really is deja vu.... the 90's all over again. All needed is a Mike Cohen and Randy Smithson sighting to complete the visual.

Hoping we keep this series going. The Cowboys had a solid shooting and Defense showing. The Shox were way off to the moon and back on shooting 3s. Ouch!!! Porter and Flanagan led us on some spurts we had.
