what baggage? Lib-tards guarding snowflakes in regards to a 6 year old allegation is why WSU deserves every bit the failure it's receiving at this point.

Conference championships= baggage, NBA players = baggage, fundraising and sell-out crowds = baggage, FINAL FOUR = baggage fees, a ranked WSU is unthinkable, thank God we don't have that baggage! And we don't have the baggage of the MVC trying to recruit WSU back to their conference.

Can we all just agree to fire the current coach before arguing about his replacement?

Stickboy keeps saying there’s all these coaches out there as good as Marshall without baggage but doesn’t offer up a single name.

              Typical.

              ... No really, deuces.

Coaches like Marshall are a rare breed. I would settle for a coach like Turg. At least he isn’t an embarrassment.

One thing the last 2 coaches shared was fight.

I would like to see HCIB get mad and take the fight to anyone. I know he’s a good person.

We have 1 realistic coaching option, Greg Heaier.

I think it’s fair to say though that there is a low chance that anyone out there can produce the results that 2007 Gregg Marshall did in the 2007 environment.

But there are much better options now, in the 2022 environment, than 2022 Gregg Marshall.

Nothing against GH but I would expect our new AD to be a bit more open minded.

John Beilein if he wants to come out of retirement.

Realistically, firing HCIB means we need the next coach to be in the $1,000,000 range. That salary, plus payouts to GM and IB, would leave WSU at about the same salary they were paying GM annually before he was fired.

Taylor's article on the game pretty much says it all. We had a bad WEEK (how TF does that happen in major college basketball?) of practice and "didn't respect" our opponent. That should just be completely unacceptable.

This program used to be about effort, playing hard, and wanting it more than the other team. We are a long ways off from that, and there is no indication we are getting back to that any time soon.

Well I don't know if the cliche about hiring and firing applies in athletics, but it probably should. Whether you are in government, non-profit or for-profit, the maxim of "fire quickly, hire slowly" applies almost 100%.
