- WSU turned the ball over too many times (see bullet one)
- Kenny Pohto playing like Kenny Pohto again
- I liked the aggressiveness attacking the rim from Walton and Pierre
- Trevin Wade scored 8 of his points while being absolutely blanketed by a defender
